With the grandeur of the majestic Drakensberg mountains dominating the horizon to the west and the green and gold of the sub-tropical Indian Ocean coast an easy 90 minutes’ drive along the N3, Hawklee is a haven of tranquillity that offers a springboard to all that Kwa-Zulu Natal offers. There are over a hundred places of interest within easy driving distances of Hawklee along the Midlands Meander - the internationally acclaimed arts and crafts route - plus a host of natural attractions and leisure pursuits right on our doorstep. Our Chalets are designed to give comfort and privacy. All units feature your own private spa bath and offer views over the Lions River. For those special occasions we offer our Honeymoon suite together with Hawklee’ s very own dash of extra luxury and pampering. Gourmet picnic baskets are offered on request and we have a lovely Honeymoon basket filled with your very own champagne, , candles, flowers, petals spread in the cottages and goodies to eat for remembrance of the lovely occasion We offer hearty country cuisine in our dining room with a 3 course meal and a choice on the menu in the evenings. Our log fire in the lounge keeps the chill at bay, as well as a deck with spectacular views where guests can relax and enjoy balmy summer evenings. Join us in The Leopards Lair bar for pre evening drinks on the deck and enjoy the rugby, golf or soccer while relaxing watching our full DSTV in the lounge and bar.
