Brand Content Hub - Tender SAT 165/19

South African Tourism seeks to partner with a newsroom/broadcast/content development partner to develop a bespoke South African Tourism content hub. The South African Tourism content hub will drive synchronised omnichannel content to manage perceptions, drive meaningful conversations and experiences for South African Tourism’s audiences. The South African Tourism brand content hub will ultimately drive brand awareness and arrival of travellers to South Africa.


The scope of South African Tourism’s business includes four distinct areas of business focus and delivery, with different target markets and segments:

  1. International Leisure tourism (travel trade and consumer); and Domestic leisure tourism (travel trade and consumer);
  2. Business events through the delivery unit the South African National Convention Bureau (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions);
  3. Quality assurance of the tourism sector/industry through the delivery of both Visitor Experience and the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa;
  4. South African Tourism corporate brand.

Brand Design - Tender SAT 152/19

South African Tourism is seeking an independent brand design agency who will further develop the brand identity and visual language of South African Tourism. The successful bidder must be able to develop South African Tourism’s brand identity, including but not limited to: brand architecture, brand identity, naming conventions, visual language and design language system. Brand consistency across the world is critical to South African Tourism, as such, a brand identity management system is critical in the delivery and usage of the brand elements.

South African Tourism (SAT) invites bids for rendering cleaning services, pest control, hygiene services and the supply of cleaning equipment, material and consumables at SA Tourism Head Office, 90 Protea Road, Bojanala House in Sandton. The bidder shall provide scheduled and ad-hoc cleaning services at the SA Tourism Head Office in order to provide a sanitary, clean and tidy environment consistent with the business functions enabling the company employees and others who have reasons to visit Bojanala House to use the facilities conveniently, safely and
hygienically.

  • The subject property is situated on the corner of Impala Road and Protea Road in the suburb known as Chislehurston. Chislehurston is a business node comprising mostly business developments and office blocks. The suburb borders Sandton and Sandhurst to the north, Hyde Park to the west and Illovo to the south;
  • The business node of Chislehurston forms part of the Sandton precinct in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg. The node is ideally situated with easy access to various arterial and secondary routes including the M1 and N3 situated to the east, and Rivonia Road providing access from the west and north;

Tourism Grading Plaques Production & Distribution - Tender no SAT 168/19

In partnering with the TGCSA the service provider will be responsible for the design and dissemination of a digital annual grading certificate and also for the monthly production and distribution of grading plaques.  The TGCSA plaque is the core product used to publicly endorse the establishment or conference grading according to the new grading criteria of the TGCSA.  The service provider will be required to produce and distribute the grading plaques following the monthly property approvals meetings where the new property approvals for that specific month (New, upgrades/downgrades, universal accessibility) will require a new grading plaque.
