Overview
GGravity offers a world class multi day wilderness rafting trip on the Orange River Gorge section near Pofadder in the Northern Cape. This life changing experience includes 4 days and 5 nights of rafting through a pristine gorge, completely untouched my human influence. The trip is run as a self contained expedition - we carry everything we need and set up camp at a different spot each night. We practice strict 'leave no trace' principles and the environment is the same as we found it, almost 20 years ago. We keep our groups and have a cap on the number of groups on the water at any one time. This minimizes our impact on the wilderness. We are the only operator with an established presence in the area. we own our camp and have trained and employed local people as guides and camp managers. Our project for 2017, our 20th anniversary year, is to set up a community fund to further aid the rural community of Onseepkans. We are active participants in the local tourism association as well as industry associations, APA and SATSA.
