BBadplaas a Forever Resort has withstood the test of time and this resort is a pillar in the industry, not only in Mpumalanga, but also in South Africa. The resort was part of many changes, changes in our history, changes in our economy and changes in our industry, but Badplaas stood steadfast. The resort does not only play a part in the industry, but is a major contributor to economic and social change and upliftment in our area.
Badplaas has become legendary for family leisure breaks and is a firm favourite amongst conference delegates. A superb hydro, bountiful game and a treasure chest of entertainment await guests at Badplaas, nestled within a nature reserve at the foot of the Hlumuhlumu Mountains. At Badplaas there is so much to do and so little time!
The resort offers 162 self-catering chalets and rondavels, a hotel with 49 luxury rooms and 300 powered camping sites. The sites are covered with trees and are very spacious. The A Camp is situated close to all the water and other activities and the B Camp is situated next to the waterfall and nature reserve. The sites have a spectacular view of the mountains and our game reserve. The campsite offers ample lighting, power and braai facilities. The camp is serviced by 6 well equipped, practical and tasteful ablution blocks. All the blocks offer separate facilities for men and women, laundry - and kitchen facilities. The resort completed major upgrades in 2016, inclusive of our supermarket, liquor store, hotel, conference venues and our Rondavels. Our Hydro & Spa will be upgraded in 2017.
