TThe Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour takes explorers on an unforgettable journey above the Letaba River gorge in Limpopo. Get ready for a zip line adventure that is only a two-hour drive from the Kruger National Park and is an absolute must for any adventurer passing through the area.
The Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour, based on the Green Frog Farm, is situated near the towns of Tzaneen and Haenertsberg. Get your adrenaline pumping and your soul soaring as you fly over the beautiful, green gorge below.
You’ll zip by the powerful sounds of three waterfalls along the route while the still waters below provide serenity during breaks along the way. This is the South African jungle adventure you’ve been looking for!

OOn arrival, adventurers are given a thorough safety briefing, before being fitted with harnesses and safety helmets. Those taking part slide rapidly along various zip lines, stopping at wooden platforms to change to the next slide, and appreciate the view, of course.
The tour is suitable for anyone between the age of seven and 70. No previous experience is required, as instructors will provide advice along the way. For safety reasons, the Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour has a maximum weight limit of 120kg. It really is an adventure for the whole family.
Beyond the raging waterfalls and sparkling river, the natural scenery along the route adds some more South African flavour with various species of trees, as well as an assortment of beautiful wildflowers. When sauntering over the Letaba River, be sure to keep an eye out for birds such as the giant kingfisher – a big, bold, noisy fish hunter.

TThe Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour has been operating since December 2008 and has provided fun and excitement for hundreds of adventurers. Other canopy tours to consider in South Africa include the Karkloof Canopy Tour in KwaZulu-Natal, the Tstitsikama Canopy Tour in the Eastern Cape, and the Magaliesberg Canopy Tour in the North West province.
