IIncentive and event travel in South Africa will entice and excite even the best-heeled traveller. We have a flair for the unusual; a penchant for the decidedly different. You will be hard pressed to find many of South Africa's unforgettable experiences anywhere else in the world.
Our wilderness and wildlife experiences are among the best in the world. You can go on walking tours in the bushveld with an experienced ranger as you track animals in their natural habitats, view the Big 5 up close from a secluded hide in the middle of nowhere, and examine the stars as you are serenaded by a family of hyenas.
Whether it’s at a bushveld breakaway, a wilderness team building experience or an overnight stay in a luxury game lodge, no visit to South Africa is complete without a brush with the wild.

SSouth Africa’s conservation track record speaks for itself. There are 19 national parks, numerous game reserves and nature reserves, and a range of ecosystems from rain forests to semi-deserts. Not only do we have the Big 7 (rhino, elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, whales and great white sharks), we also have an incredible array of bird and plant life.
Amongst the unforgettable experiences are night safaris, the spotting of an elusive leopard out on a hunt, spending the night in a treetop retreat, staying in a tented bush camp, being a game ranger for a day, and visiting a local village on the outskirts of a game reserve.
South Africa is known for its excellent weather and wide range of natural attractions. The country’s outdoor adventure activities are extremely popular. So whether you’re playing golf on a championship golf course, abseiling off Lion’s Head in Cape Town, climbing up an icy waterfall in the Drakensberg or river rafting down the Tugela – there’s an outdoor activity with your name on it.
For adrenalin junkies, hardcore adventure options include abseiling, paragliding, microlighting, kloofing and diving with predators. For softer options there’s horse riding on the beach, hot air ballooning, fishing, angling, and surfing and cycling. For those who enjoy the water, there are thousands of kilometres of coastline to explore.

GGolf in South Africa is big business and there are golf tours available to our many championship golf courses. Where else in the world can you putt to perfection while watching whales out of the corner of your eye? Where else can you view crocodile and hippo as you traverse the greens?
Immerse yourself in South African culture. It is fascinating and insightful and can open your eyes to different ways of doing things. Our varying cultural traditions will surprise and delight you. You can follow a Hindu procession down Durban’s streets during the Diwali festival, meet a sangoma (traditional healer) at a traditional cultural village, or learn about kwaito music at a local township shebeen. You can interact with South Africa’s many cultural tribes that include Zulu, Xhosa, Tswana, Ndebele, Venda and Sotho, and learn about their traditional ways.
South Africa is the perfect incentive destination for you. We are renowned for our superb cuisine, our exquisite wines and a desire to have as much fun as possible. Don’t miss out on a good old-fashioned South Africa braaivleis (barbeque), or the taste of traditional African cuisine in a township shebeen.
Our award-winning wines are world-renowned and a visit to Stellenbosch, Paarl or Franschhoek in the scenic Cape winelands is an unforgettable experience. You can head off on a wine-tasting safari and buy bottles of local Pinotage, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay to take back home.

EEight of South Africa's natural attractions have been named UNESCO World Heritage Sites, each an area of extraordinary beauty and importance to humanity; each offering unforgettable experiences. These are Robben Island, the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, the Cradle of Humankind, the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park, the Mapungubwe Cultural Landscape, the Cape Floral Region, the Vredefort Dome and the Richterveld Cultural and Botanical Landscape.
