Data Scientist: South African Tourism

Overview

An exciting Data Sciences opportunity just opened up at our Head Office in South Africa, to join our Digital and Technology business unit as a Data Scientist. We invite applications from individuals who are passionate about promoting South Africa as a Tourism Destination and possess the required skills and experience.

Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the GM: ICT, this is a hands-on role responsible for building and maintaining the technical infrastructure and algorithmic rules that enable the manual and dynamic use of 1 st, 2nd or 3rd part data, be it big, small, structured, unstructured or dynamic. This is for all SA Tourism business units, locally and internationally, in line with their different on-going needs and objectives.
