DDURBAN, SOUTH AFRICA – Saturday, 5 May 2019: President Cyril Ramaphosa cuts the first slice of the Sho’t Left Travel Week Pie.

Sho’t Left Travel Week was launched at Africa’s Travel Indaba 2019 on Thursday, 02 May. The campaign aims to get local travellers excited about exploring their own country by offering them the opportunity to buy discounted local deals and packages for one week only.

To create a business case for enticing potential trade partners to want to participate in this year’s instalment, Sho’t Left Travel Week launched with a twist. A 4mx3m pie was baked as an exciting way to invite potential trade partners to ‘grab a slice of the pie’, by registering to participate at Sho’t Left Travel Week. Those registering were literally given a slice of pie at Indaba when they registered to on the Sho’t Left Travel Week portal; www.deals.southafrica.net

President Cyril Ramaphosa stopped by the Sho’t Left Travel Week pie activation to cut the first piece of the pie. Do date 261 trade partners have registered for this year’s installment of the campaign.

The Sho’t Left Travel Week sale will be taking place from 23-29 September, 2019.
