AA UNESCO World Heritage Site with exceptional natural beauty and an estimated 40 000 San paintings spread across hundreds of different sites. This is an incredible location to discover more about the San people, specifically those who lived thousands of years ago, leaving behind extraordinary artwork that detailed how they lived and more. Delegates who are feeling adventurous can take a rock-art tour that will expose them to approximately 30 000 paintings in 600 remote caves. You’ll be amazed that these artworks are estimated to be nearly 800 years old. If you venture to the Cathedral Peak-Mdelelelo Wilderness area, you’ll discover more than 8800 individual paintings around 130 sites.
