Overview
TThis includes a visit to the famous Victoria Street Market, the Juma Masjid Mosque (the largest mosque in the Southern Hemisphere) and past the Hare Krishna Sri Sri Radha Radhanath Temple of Understanding in Chatsworth. There’s so much to see and do in and around Durban, so a good option to explore the city is with a tour on the Durban Ricksha Bus that stops at most of the city’s major attractions. One of the many route highlights the bus will take delegates on includes cultural sites such as the Emmanuel Cathedral, Francis Farewell Square and KwaMuhle Museum. The Victoria Street Market is well known for shoppers looking for great bargains on products and ingredients (spices and curry powders) for cuisine. The Muthi Market, which is buried deep in African culture, is also worth a visit.
