TThe European Society for Translation Studies (EST) was founded in 1992, and is focused on researching and improving the fields of translation and interpreting. The congress is held tri-annually, and the 9th congress will be held at Stellenbosch University, Stellenbosch, South Africa in September 2019. The theme for the 2019 congress is: Living Translation: People, Processes, Products.
