SSouth African Tourism UKI Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter
   The promoter of this competition is South African Tourism UKI Office, located at Belle House, 1 Victoria Mainline Station, 1 Hudsons Place, Unit 2.10, Tourism Execution (referred to as the ‘Promoter’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’).
2. Terms of Entry
   2.1 These Terms and Conditions (‘Terms’) apply to all prize draws or promotions we may run, whether via our website, social media channels, or other platforms (‘Promotion’).
   2.2 Specific Promotions may be subject to additional terms (‘Promotion Specific Terms’), which will be available at the bottom of this page.
   2.3 Where there is any conflict between these Terms and any Promotion Specific Terms, the latter will take precedence.
   2.4 By participating in a Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any applicable Promotion Specific Terms. Please keep a copy for your records.
3. The Promotion
   3.1 The name of the Promotion and instructions for entry are detailed in the Promotion Specific Terms.
   3.2 Entries must be received by the closing date specified in the Promotion Specific Terms.
   3.3 Entry is free and no purchase is required.
4. How to Enter
   4.1 Unless otherwise stated in the Promotion Specific Terms, only one entry per person is allowed. Additional entries will be disqualified.
   4.2 Third-party or bulk entries are not permitted. Any attempts to manipulate the entry process (e.g., using multiple email addresses or false identities) may result in disqualification.
   4.3 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant whose conduct is deemed to undermine the spirit of the Promotion.
   4.4 Incomplete, illegible, late, or misdirected entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. We are not responsible for entries lost or delayed due to technical issues.
5. The Prize
   5.1 Prize details are set out in the Promotion Specific Terms.
   5.2 Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.
   5.3 We aim to dispatch prizes within 14 days of winner confirmation, but cannot be held responsible for any delays.
   5.4 We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require it.
6. Winners and Prize Claims
   6.1 Winners will be selected at random using an automated system unless otherwise stated in the Promotion Specific Terms.
   6.2 Winners will be notified via the email provided upon entry within 14 days of the closing date. Winners have 14 days from notification to claim their prize. If unclaimed, the prize may be reallocated or awarded to a reserve winner.
   6.3 Entrants must ensure their contact information is accurate. We are not responsible for failure to deliver prizes due to incorrect details.
7. Eligibility
   7.1 The Promotion is open to UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland) aged 18 or over, except:
   (a) employees of the Promoter or any South African Tourism offices;
   (b) employees of any agents or suppliers involved in the Promotion;
   (c) immediate family or household members of (a) or (b).
   7.2 By entering, you confirm your eligibility and agree to provide proof if requested.
8. Data Protection and Publicity
   Any personal data you provide will be handled securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
9. Liability
   To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and associated parties accept no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or death arising from participation in the Promotion or use of the prize, except where caused by negligence. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
10. General
    10.1 The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
    10.2 We may cancel, suspend, or amend the Promotion if necessary.
    10.3 By entering, you grant the Promoter a global, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, and share any content submitted as part of your entry. You waive any moral rights and confirm you have the authority to grant these rights.
    10.4 We may publish the surname and county of major prize winners, along with winning entries if applicable. If you object to this, contact info.uk@southafrica.net. We must still provide this information to the ASA on request.
    10.5 We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches these Terms or the spirit of the Promotion. Attempts to game the system will result in disqualification and prize forfeiture.
    10.6 We accept no liability for technical errors or disruptions affecting entry, prize delivery, or notifications.
    10.7 If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, it will be removed without affecting the validity of the remaining clauses.
    10.8 In the event of unforeseen circumstances or technical issues beyond our control, we reserve the right to amend, withdraw, or cancel the Promotion, though we will aim to minimise disappointment.
    10.9 These Promotions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
