FFrom Sun City Resort and the Pilanesberg National Park to Madkiwe game reserve, the Taung Heritage Site and Hartbeespoort Dam, the North West province has much to offer tourists. Try your luck at Sun City casino, get up close and personal with Big 5 game or go waterskiing.

The North West province is so rich in minerals that it is sometimes called the platinum province. Eighty percent of the world’s platinum is found here. The combination of good weather and great soil makes it an agricultural epicentre the perfect place to grow crops. Besides mining and agriculture, tourism is another major drawcard. There are numerous North West province attractions that would be of great interest totravellers.

The province is home to Sun City, Africa’s most famous conference, casino and entertainment complex. Here you'll find the world-renowned and majestic The Palace of the Lost City a 5-star hotel steeped in the legend of an age-old mythical civilisation and set in a tropical jungle. Sun City Resort is also the venue for the annual Nedbank Golf Challenge that attracts the world's top golfers.

Just a hop and skip from Sun City you’ll find the magnificent Big 5 Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Not too far away from that is the Madikwe Game Reserve with its luxury lodges and Big 5 game. Both are top-notch North West incentive destinations.

The province is also home to the Magaliesberg mountain range, about an hour's drive from Johannesburg. The Magaliesberg is a great place for hiking, mountain bike trails and bird-watching.

The nearby Hartbeespoort Dam is known for its fun watersports and chilled holiday vibes.

For something a little different, follow in the footsteps of one of South Africa’s literary giants, Herman Charles Bosman, as you follow his trail to Groot Marico. Alternatively, history buffs will enjoy the sights, sounds and stories that are to be found in Mafikeng.

The North West province is ideally situated to cater for any type of meeting or team-building event that forms part of an incentive trip. Enjoy a bushveld location for your office pow-wow, followed by a hot-air balloon ride over the Pilanesberg or work out your fiscal future in a meeting room at Sun City, followed by a night of fun and entertainment at South Africa’s version of Las Vegas.
