Hermanus is considered to offer the best land based whale watching in the world, and you are able to do so from your own seafront bedroom or one of our lounges (July to November), or just relax in style that is simply seafront.  Conveniences available in the bedrooms include tea and coffee making facilities, a colour television, a direct-dial telephone and double or twin beds.  Standard in all the en-suite bathrooms is a bath with overhead shower.

The Windsor Hotel has three conference rooms, with the largest conference room (Whale Room) accommodating a maximum of 120 delegates in cinema style.  The two smaller conference rooms (Dolphin and Fynbos) accommodate any number of delegates, however small the group, up to a maximum of 50 persons, cinema style.

The Windsor Hotel is only 70 minutes from Cape Town and transport can be arranged.  Hermanus is the ideal base from which to venture forth on a variety of never-to-be-forgotten experiences.  It is also close to the Overberg countryside with its popular activities, the beautiful Garden Route, and the most southern point of Africa, L’Agulhas.
