In 2011, we were finalists in the prestigious Imvelo Awards for Responsible Tourism, signatory to the Carbon Price Communiqué, and a member of the Event Greening Forum. Hotel devices and practices actively conserve energy and water and we minimise and recycle most waste. We source and use sustainably produced/organic/fair trade consumables - wine, coffee, produce and foods including SASSI–approved seafood.

Our events Centre’s “Trees4schools” project donates R1 on behalf of each delegate to green school-grounds in disadvantaged areas.
