TThe Townhouse Hotel is located in the heart of South Africa’s Mother City of Cape Town, City central, in the heart of Africa’s tourism capital, near Parliament and the historic Company Gardens. Uptown luxury and down-to-earth hospitality. 106 rooms and suites for the best night‘s sleep. A more intimate, individualized 4-star hotel experience, the Townhouse offers 106 selected en-suite accommodation options from single to spacious deluxe rooms and junior suites. Our beautifully designed and newly refurbished rooms offer the best in contemporary comforts, including full climate control, free Wi-Fi Internet access and DSTV.

Conservation is taken very seriously by Townhouse Hotel. Education of all the staff, the introduction of energy and water saving devices, and a waste separation and recycling programmes are some of the many ways that Townhouse Hotel is making its contribution towards a cleaner, safer and more sustainable planet.

In 2011, we were finalists in the prestigious Imvelo Awards for Responsible Tourism, signatory to the Carbon Price Communiqué, and a member of the Event Greening Forum. Hotel devices and practices actively conserve energy and water and we minimise and recycle most waste. We source and use sustainably produced/organic/fair trade consumables - wine, coffee, produce and foods including SASSI–approved seafood.

Our events Centre’s “Trees4schools” project donates R1 on behalf of each delegate to green school-grounds in disadvantaged areas.

If you are looking for a conference venue with a minimum footprint come and use our green conference facilities.
