TThis modern yet relaxing self catering cottage is just a five minute walk from the centre of Franschhoek. The open plan kitchen/dining area is extremely well equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer and just about everything else you could possibly need. Sleeping up to six people, it has two bedrooms (one en-suite) with queen size beds and a gated spiral staircase leading to a mezzanine open room with two single beds, wardrobe, table and chairs. A spacious lounge with high ceiling has a large fireplace, essential for cosy winter evenings. Satellite TV ensures quality viewing for sports fans, there is also a radio and a selection of CD’s, books and games to suit all tastes. The cottage has three covered stoeps (veranda) looking out into a beautiful garden full of roses and lavender – even the birds are provided for with a table and bath! The sun rises over the mountains to ensure breakfast on the stoep is a delight. A driveway at the side of the cottage provides parking. For those not inclined to spend holiday time in the kitchen, Franschhoek - the culinary centre of Western Province – hosts a number of the top restaurants in the country.
