SSouthern Camp, situated on the southern most section of the Kapama Private Game Reserve, and offers basic luxury accommodation in this informal, tranquil lodge accompanied by warm hospitality and friendly service in one of the best bush locations in the country.
Kapama Private Game Reserve spans 120 square kilometers of famed ‘Big 5’ – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino - territory offering guests a safari adventure with all the big game including 42 mammal species and over 350 bird species.
The reserve is perfectly situated to receive guests flying into Eastgate Airport (Hoedspruit). A quick 30 minute transfer to Southern Camp is all it takes before you can relax and absorb the quiet surroundings of the African bush. Driving from Johannesburg or Pretoria will take about 5 hours – but we will wait for you.
