The architecture of Garden Lodge draws inspiration from the abundance of natural beauty surrounding it. Ceiling beams mimic the branches of the hallowed ancient milkwood trees. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow the natural light to enter the space, and accentuate the expansive views on all sides. It’s all about bringing the outside in, and creating a unique, fully immersive experience.

At Grootbos, we’re passionate about living sustainably and in harmony with nature. This ethos has guided all our endeavours, and was vital during the rebuild of Garden Lodge. Re-using materials from the original building, implementing eco-friendly water and waste management practices, and the use of solar and other clean energy sources, are just some of the sustainability features of the newly rebuilt lodge, moving us closer to clean, responsible living.
