Overview

BBuhala Lodge is an enchanting five star colonial style thatch rooflodge, situated on the Southern banks of the Crocodile River. The ample outdoorveranda space, provides all guests an opportunity to relax and dine outsidewhile admiring gorgeous views of the Kruger National Park, and all the wildlife splendour it has to offer. Members of the Big 5 are frequent visitors toour property along with hippo, crocodile and many antelope species

Our seventeen bedrooms are divided into four room types namely theStandard rooms, Kruger Park River rooms, Kruger Park Balcony rooms and theElephant Garden suites. All our rooms are beautifully furnished with en-suitebathrooms and free standing showers.

The lodge is a family owned and run business which focuses on guestcomfort and relaxation paired with all the luxury you would expect.

A fully licenced restaurant and bar is situated at the mainbuilding. Buhala Lodge is well known for fine cuisine and our exceptional winelist showcasing only the finest South African wines. Meals are served either alfresco on our veranda, or in our gracious dining room and the whole ambiance isone of casual elegance. Breakfast is served in an English breakfast style whilean a la cart menu for lunch is available. Dinner is served in the form of athree course meal with some choices offered. The menu changes daily but dietaryrequirements are attended to with prior notice.

Our guests have the rare opportunity to play golf at the exclusiveLeopard Creek Country Club. The golf course, usually reserved for members only,offers players a wildlife experience while challenging their golfing skills onSouth Africa’s number one golf course.

Safari’s into the Kruger National Park are arranged and done by ourvery experienced guide. Early morning walks and even night drives can also bearranged as well as any and all transfers that might be needed.

Our open deck bush spa with sweeping views over the Kruger NationalPark and the Crocodile River, provide a selection of treatments for those who wishto relax after a long day.
