BREAKFAST & DINING
For those staying on a Bed & Breakfast basis a sumptuous breakfast is served on the verandah amongst the trees at the Main Lodge. Our breakfasts are known to cause our guests to “skip” lunch ...

You won’t lose out should you be doing an early morning safari as we provide you with a breakfast hamper to keep you going. As we are on the Lowveld Gourmet Restaurant Route we do not do dinners (why compete) and we encourage our guests to take advantage of the gastronomical delights awaiting you locally all within 5 kms radius of us. Summerfields, Olivers and Salt are just 3 award winning restaurants on the Lowveld Gourmet Restaurant Route.

ATTRACTIONS & ACTIVITIES
As Blue Jay Lodge is centrally located in Hazyview, Mpumalanga and on the edge of Kruger National Park where you can see the Big 5, an early morning safari game drive is within easy reach. Phabeni Gate is a mere 10 minute drive away and Kruger Gate a 30 minute drive away.

The wonders of the Lowveld Panorama Route and the sights of God’s Window, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, The Pinnacle and Pilgrims Rest are all within day trip tour distance from this very central location.

For the more adventurous there are a variety of other activities in the area including abseiling, river rafting, horse-riding, elephant riding, aerial cable rides, hiking trails, microliting, as well as hot air ballooning. For the avid golfer, there are two excellent golf courses nearby.

We can assist with advice as well as bookings where needed on any of these attractions and activities.
