Overview

UUpon entering the gates of Bamboo, the Guest House one steps into a verdant, luxuriant forested oasis that regenerates and revitalises the soul. Inspiration, individuality, comfort and congeniality have all found a home at Bamboo.
Our 14 individually styled and beautifully decorated en suite rooms are connected via wooden walkways meandering through our magical gardens. From smaller standard doubles with elevated balcony or fully walled courtyard garden, spacious king bedded garden cottage style rooms or family rooms and two bedroom poolside or garden suites to fanciful Honeymoon cottages or the ever popular Loft Suite, we have a room for all occasions! Each cottage room is equipped with a flat screen colour TV, original local artworks, tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fan, wall heater, bar fridge and a private terrace, deck or courtyard garden. A perfect place, after a day filled with all the excitement the Garden Route has on offer, to relax and enjoy a cold drink while taking in the many bird varieties the garden attracts. Or simply lounge around our two salt water swimming pools.
Sumptuous breakfasts are served daily on our dining deck overlooking our very own patch of Knysna forest. Lunches and picnic baskets are available on order, as are suppers by prior arrangement - a popular choice being a traditional braai (barbecue).
Bamboo is conveniently located just a short drive from the iconic Knysna Heads, the town center and waterfront, Leisure Isle, Thesen Island and 3 excellent golf courses. . Whether you are a family on holiday, honeymooners, business folk or traveler, a warm welcome awaits you at Bamboo, truly more than a guest house, a magical hideaway!
