‘Learn SA Roadshow’ to make Middle East debut

Connections, engagement and showcasing South Africa’s diverse tourist offerings will be on the cards at the inaugural ‘Learn SA Roadshow’ in the Middle East from 21 to 30 October 2018, hosted by South African Tourism.

The roadshow will take place in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Iran, Kuwait and Jeddah, and our representatives will present South Africa’s key travel opportunities, establishments and experiences to the different market development projects.

Sthembiso Dlamini, Chief Operating Officer at South African Tourism said, “We are excited to be showcasing South Africa’s rich and varied travel offering that could be packaged to the Middle East trade and extend our relations in encouraging the large DMCs to work with small businesses and incorporate them into itineraries in a meaningful way. We look forward to connecting and communicating during the roadshow, and seeing how we can further encourage and inspire people to visit South Africa for business and leisure.”

South African Tourism will embark on a second leg of the ‘Learn SA Roadshow’ on 29 January 2019 in Turkey, to coincide with our participation at EMITT (East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition) from 31 January to 03 February 2019.

South African Tourism will provide more information in the coming weeks on the roadshow dates, venues and agendas.
