Where Nature, Wildlife, and Adventure Meet
Imagine waking with the rising African sun, driving out of your camp with anticipation building, eyes scanning the bush for a lion on the move, a leopard draped across a branch, or a herd of elephants quietly starting their day. These magical moments remind you why a South African safari is unlike anything else—and why so many travelers return to come find their joy here.
Visitors can explore Kruger in their own vehicles, book guided drives, or relax in exclusive private lodges. The park offers 12 main rest camps, 5 bushveld camps, 2 bush lodges, and 4 satellite camps, giving every explorer the perfect base for their adventure.
Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the Lowveld, Kruger now stands as one of the greatest conservation areas in Africa. It is home to remarkable biodiversity: 336 tree species, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds, and 147 mammals. The park continues to lead in environmental management and sustainable tourism, preserving its natural heritage for generations to come.
Kruger is also rich in cultural history. Visitors can explore ancient bushman rock art, as well as archaeological sites like Masorini and Thulamela—powerful reminders of how people and nature have coexisted here for centuries.
Whether you're seeking close-up wildlife encounters, a soul-stirring safari adventure, or a place to reconnect and find your joy, Kruger National Park is the beating heart of South Africa’s wild beauty.
DDiscover the Kalahari’s Magic in South Africa
Explore the Untamed Beauty of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park

Here, rolling red dunes, golden grass, and endless horizons create one of the most breathtaking landscapes in southern Africa. The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park offers a powerful contrast to South Africa’s bustling city life, making it the perfect escape for travellers seeking something extraordinary.
A Landmark Conservation Success
The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park combines South Africa’s former Kalahari Gemsbok National Park with Botswana’s Gemsbok National Park. These two vast wilderness areas were always divided by nothing more than an invisible border, forming a shared ecosystem of about 37 000km².
In 2000, the two countries formally united the region, creating South Africa’s first official transfrontier conservation area. Since then, both nations have benefited from shared ecological management, while visitors enjoy seamless travel between the two parks. (A passport is only needed if you exit on the opposite side.)
