Day 1
Guided Route 67 Experience
- Route 67 consists of 67 Public Art Works symbolising Nelson Mandela's 67 years of work dedicated to the Freedom of South Africa and includes 67 steps leading up the second largest flag in Africa. The artworks were designed by local artists from the Eastern Cape. The route is proud celebration of our cities heritage and history. This is a must see stop for the whole family to walk and to enjoy. Guided Tours of Route 67 is available at the Donkin Visitor Information Office inside the lighthouse building.
Lunch at Remo’s Italian
- Remo’s is all about celebrating and passing on crucial family traditions, appreciating the kitchen, having family and friends gather around the table; because that’s where everything happens. It is a special place for old and new memories.
Beachfront E-Bike Experience with Awehness Tours (SMME)
- The Port Elizabeth beachfront tour is 24km long, flat and non-technical. This route uses the cycle paths along the beachfront to the Cape Recife Lighthouse and back to Brickmakers Kloof where there are some amazing things to see and explore. The route itself has a lot to offer in the form of amazing views and photo opportunities as we cruise past the harbour and blue flag beaches. This route is for anybody who enjoys the fresh ocean breeze.

Day 2
Whale, Dolphin & Penguin Island Cruise in Port Elizabeth to St Croix – Raggy Charters (SMME)
- Meet at the Nelson Mandela Bay Yacht Club in the Port Elizabeth Harbour at 8.00am where you will be taken on a catamaran to see the whales, dolphins and African Penguins on St. Croix Island and Brenton Island. Refreshments and snacks are served during the cruise and you will return by 12.00pm.
Lunch at Blue Waters Café
- Blue Waters Café is situated on the shores of Port Elizabeth’s pristine coastline. With clear views of the harbour, the famous Pier as well as the most popular beaches Port Elizabeth has to offer, Blue Waters Café is undoubtedly one of the best-situated restaurants along the beachfront.
Afternoon Sundowner game drive in the Addo Elephant National Park
