TThe Riverside Mall shopping centre in Mbombela (Nelspruit) is the biggest shopping and entertainment mall in the Mpumalanga province. Located on the road to White River, it provides a perfect “one-stop shop” for you if you’re on your way to Kruger National Park or to one of the many game reserves in the area.

Riverside Mall shopping centre is the perfect place to stock up before a visit to the famous Kruger National Park or one of the many game reserves in the wildlife-rich South African lowveld, or to browse around for gifts and souvenirs to take home.

Did You Know?
TTemperatures over 40-degrees Celsius are common in summer, so the Riverside Mall provides a cool refuge to escape the midday heat.

AAs the biggest mall in the province, this Mpumalanga shopping mall is conveniently situated in the tourism hub of Mbombela (Nelspruit), on the main road to White River. The mall is home to more than 140 stores and 15 restaurants and coffee shops and is popular with local and international shoppers alike.

Riverside Mall

YYou will find virtually all the shops that the mega-malls in big cities like Johannesburg and Cape Town offer, from Pick 'n Pay supermarket to the clothes and exclusive foods on sale at Woolworths, a favourite for many South Africans. True to its motto – “It’s all at the Mall” − you will also be able to stock up on South African favourites like biltong, purchase a field guide to help you identify the birds and mammals you will see on your travels, or perhaps buy a spare memory card for you camera. You will also find clothing shops, souvenir stores, restaurants and fast food outlets at Riverside Mall shopping centre.

This shopping mall is cool and atmospheric inside, offering a merciful retreat from the hot African sun. This makes shopping here even more of a pleasure. If you’re staying over in or around the area you can also watch movies at the mall, have a bit of fun in the gaming arcade, or enjoy a leisurely meal.
