On this 2hrs walking tour, we're going to be hitting the streets of the Maboneng Precinct and Jewel City, famously known as the creative hub of Johannesburg to see an eclectic mix of street art featuring the best street artists from around the world.

We meet the locals and explore Joburg subcultures, learn about the artists, their message, and different techniques used. Walking you through individual pieces as well as giving you an overview of these colourful pieces to experience first-hand just how street art is changing the perspective in these local communities.

What to Wear

  • Mask (Compulsory)

  • Sunscreen.

  • Comfortable shoes.

  • During Summer: Extra sweater or rain jacket as it tends to rain unexpectedly

  • Hat & sunglasses for sunny days.

  • During Winter: Layers with a jacket or jersey as winter mornings start off cold and usually warms up as the day goes.

What to Bring

  • Hand Sanitiser (Compulsory)

  • Camera (remember to always ask people if they are okay with you taking their photo before snapping away.) 

  • Some extra cash to buy souvenirs from the markets or additional snacks to support our local businesses.
