Overview

BBaleni Camp is in mopani-land, near the banks of the Klein Letaba River. The camp is built in traditional Tsonga style, with 5 rondavels offering en-suite accommodation forr the modern traveller, solar lights and cell phone charging included.  The camp has self-catering facilities that are shared with our visitors in the camp, and include gas hobs in the kitchen as well as a great braai area to spend time around at night - even just for the ''camp file''.

Visitors are invited to share local community activities which are booked separately and before arrival: 

1) Salt harvesting: R865 per group

2) Traditional dancing (Men: Xigubu or Women: Xibelani):  R865 per group

3) Traditional Tsonga meal:  R170 per person (minimum four people)
