BBoga Legaba, meaning Quencher of hunger in the Tswana language, is situated in Riviera Park, Mahikeng (Mafikeng) in the North West Province of South Africa.
Boga Legaba was established from an already existing house in 2003. Mmanong Ntoane (owner) with the assistance of key architects and interior designers, managed to turn a simple home into a truly picturesque guest house. From humble beginnings, Boga Legaba started with only 2 en suite rooms and through sound management and determination, it grew to a total of 27 en suite rooms.
Our Unique Selling Point (USP) is the 4 star grading, our themed rooms, each with its own name and poem. The ethnic elegance of its interior decor is characterised by meticulously crafted sculptures and a unique art collection portraying South African history.
Situated on the outskirts of Mahikeng CBD, Boga Legaba offers a serene and comforting ambience which is reinforced by its spacious gardens and swimming pools. The suburb is inhabited by government employees, academics and business executives among others. Being in the Heritage destination category, we are close to places of interest such as: The Mahikeng Game Reserve, Mahikeng Museum and Lotlamoreng Dam with its excellent fishing facilities. Adjacent to the dam is the Lotlamoreng Cultural Village which is a representation of the African lifestyle and provides a good opportunity to learn about our cultural traditions. A fully equipped conference facility (Capacity 83 people cinema style, 60 people classroom style) is available for company meetings and government seminars, along with banquets and other small events. Our home cooked meals are prepared taking into consideration our guests' diet preferences. In addition, we have a health and beauty spa which is a welcome pleasure for guests who want to relax.
North West Provincial Tourism awarded us the Best Guest House of the Year in 2012.
