TThe awards recognise and acknowledge business excellence; and honours enterprises that promote the spirit of success and innovation. The awards also acknowledge job creation, good business ethics and quality within specific industries. Celebrating the successes of established businesses, regardless of their size, is a motivating exercise for other aspiring business owners and enterprises.
Business excellence is recognised in various categories and entries are open to all sectors. This includes SMMEs, organisations that drive innovation, youth-led enterprises, and manufacturers following best operating practices, exporters of South African products, woman-owned businesses, and investors committed to job creation. Some of the categories include Lifetime Achievement, Manufacturers, Exporters, Enterprise Development Support, Women-Owned Businesses, Young Entrepreneur, Investor of the Year, Proudly South African Enterprise, Play Your Part, and SMME. South African enterprises that meet the various criteria per category and have achieved success in their various fields are eligible and encouraged to enter.
All business enterprises are hereby invited to submit entries for the 4th annual South African Premier Business Awards by 30 September 2016. Companies and organisations are allowed to enter a maximum of three categories.
