Colourful artworks inspired by the !Xun and Khwe traditions are available on Platfontein Farm (20 kilometres outside of Kimberley), purchase woodcarvings, bow and arrow sets and traditional beadwork.

Colourful and unique sculptures made from recycled paper and sand to produce lizards, Orange River fish, tortoises and water birds. These mini works of art are sold by a local craft outfit in Upington.

On the road to the Kgalagadi National Park groups of crafters sell their traditional wares, inspired by their spiritual San heritage.
9Dates from the desert
Pella is a small hamlet known for its impressive cathedral and date palms. Dates from this region are sold in beautiful wooden boxes to mail-order customers world-wide.
