1Aardklop National Arts Festival
The Aardklop (Earth's heartbeat) is a five-day festival of Afrikaans music and theatre which takes place during September in the university town of Potchefstroom. Cultural activities are complemented by traditional cuisine, drink and fun events. More than 150 000 spectators attend annually.
