1Innibos Kunstefees, Nelspruit

Takes place in April in Dullstroom. There are hot-air balloon rides and Easter egg competitions, mampoer tastings and a beauty competition. Great country fun
7Selati Africycle, Mpumalanga Province
This significant cycle race is staged over 7 days in September and tours much of the province. Cyclists will cover over 700 km during this event and the winner walks away with a big purse.
8Sabie Forest Fair
Takes place in October over 3 days and draws some 12 000 visitors. More of an industry affair frequented by those involved in forestry and related industries
9Komatipoort Festival
Runs over 3 days in June and is primarily a music and food festival. Enjoy great South African music by top artistes. Face painting and fun activities abound.
10Loskop ultra-marathon
Takes place in April and follows a 50km scenic route in the Loskop Dam area with interesting landmarks and challenging up-hills. Great training for the Comrades Marathon
