We are only 1km from the village centre, 15 minutes from historic Pietermaritzburg (capital of the KwaZulu-Natal Province) and one hour from the city of Durban. In addition we are at the southern gateway of the Midlands Meander Craft Route, close to Tala Game Reserve, and adjoin the KwaZulu Natal Battlefields. Our property borders a wetland and has a beautiful distant view of the Drakensberg, which is easily accessible for day trips. Your hosts, Heinz and Rosalind Galla-Barth extend to guests the high level of service and warm hospitality that they have sought and only sometimes found during their travels around the world. In addition to English, Heinz is German and speaks a bit of Afrikaans, while Rosalind tries to revive her rusty Mandarin. Mastercard, Visa, and Diners Club accepted with pleasure.
