It all started from humble beginnings, one simple idea. Offer travellers, spacious, creative, spotless and good value accommodation. Obtaining all these goals together isn’t easy nor is it the norm in the travel industry. Then again our guests aren’t one to follow the beaten path. They are independent, creative, forward thinking travellers….. who don’t want to stay in another regular hotel room in another regular city on another regular holiday. Staying in the Daddy Long Legs Independent Travellers Hotel is like being part of an interactive art exhibition. The thirteen-room boutique backpacker is quite unlike anything else in South Africa. Not only is each room uniquely decorated by an artist, poet, photographer, designer or musician, but, they were afforded complete freedom to interpret the space as they pleased, resulting in a collection of hotel rooms that are an adventurous, humorous (and sometimes ironic) representation of Cape Town’s contemporary cultural landscape.
