Sungulwane Hills Game Lodge

Sungulwane Hills Game Lodge is situated in the foothills of the Ubombo mountain range, between the world renowned Hluhluwe-Umfolozi & Mkuze Reserves, on the western side of the Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park (a UNESCO World Heritage site). The lodge is nestled in a saddle of umbrella & black thorn trees and is surrounded by just over 1000 hectares of mixed savannah, making it ideal for the wide variety of fauna & flora found here. Sungulwane Hills offer guests exclusivity, peace & quiet. The Lodge currently has 7 fully serviced chalets that are all en-suite, with air conditioning and tea & coffee bars. The main building has a beautiful lounge, dining room & bar with a patio overlooking a waterhole. There are a few board games as well as an informal library available to the guests. DSTV (with limited channels) is available, but we urge guests to rather listen to the sounds of the wild. Our big swimming pool is ideal to cool off in after the day’s activities.
