The Orangerie

THE ORANGERIE Gardens, Cape Town City Bowl, The Orangerie is one of the most exciting new residential developments in the city bowl of Cape Town. Located on the slopes of Table mountain, right next to the exclusive Mount Nelson Hotel, Walking distance from vibrant Kloof -and Long streets, the National museum and the Parliament. Even though you are in the middle of the city, the building is surrounded by beautiful indigenous gardens with stunning water features that create an amazingly peaceful ambiance. It�s an ideal getaway for a couple on a romantic holiday, or a businessman that is tired of staying in impersonal hotel rooms. The building is ultra modern with all the amenities, yet has some of the classic Cape architecture features which makes it blend in beautifully with it�s classic neighbors. The apartment has a huge terrace with great mountain views and a private courtyard with hammock and all day sun for the sun lovers. Bedrooms and Bathrooms: One bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower in bath, and luxurious finishes. Separate toilet with vanity in the hallway. There is plenty of closet space and sliding doors leading directly onto the private courtyard. The bed is king-size and extra length with exquisite 200 tc bed linen. The A/C is conveniently located in the lounge covering the whole apartment and the noisy part out of sight and sound on the roof. Living Areas: One enters the building directly from the underground parking and goes up to the top floor with a panoramic elevator. From the hallway there is direct access to the courtyard, as well as a small desk area. Further down the hall is the guest toilet. Lounge The large lounge is open plan with the kitchen and dining area. It features retro design furniture, like the famous Eames armchair with footstool and a comfortable leather coach. The springbok ottomans and carpet remind you that you are indeed in Africa. Large sliding door leads onto the big covered terrace, with outdoors dining area for 2, a sun lounger, and stunning views of Lions Head. Sony TV set, with DSTV and DVD player. Philips sound system which easily connects with your I -pod with your own choice of music. Wireless internet Dining Room The dining area seats 4 comfortably on original �Tom Vac� design chairs. Kitchen The modern, open plan kitchen is state of the art with beautiful granite counter top. Stainless steel Bosch stove and ceramic hob, and extractor fan. Microwave and under the counter Defy washing machine. Large double door Defy fridge /freezer. Extensive cooking utensils for the culinary inclined. Outdoor: The terrace looks down on the beautiful indigenous garden, and the canal with fountains running down the hill in between the 2 blocks. Gated secure estate with 24 hour security guard on duty. Other: Parking Easy remote access with parking under the building with 2 designated parking bays, and secure guest parking available as well.
