Giants Cup Wilderness Reserve

Giants Cup Wilderness Reserve is, a small, exclusive trout flyfishing resort set on the banks of a 25hectare lake - through which the Umzimkulwana River flows. It is, uniquely in southern Africa, a self-sustaining, wild spawning open system. Regarded by many as perhaps the finest trout fishing destination in the country, it is entirely surrounded by Kwazulu-Natal Conservation Services wilderness area, and is home to prolific wildlife and rare waterfowl. Activities include angling for wild-spawned rainbow and brown trout, wilderness hikes and bird-watching for uncommon and rare wet-land species.
