African Game Lodge

Situated close to the quaint town of Montagu, just 2 hours from Cape Town, and on the charismatic Route 62, African Game Lodge is located in the heart of the most spectacular, dramatic scenery of the Little Karoo mountains and valleys. African Game Lodge is ideally suited for nature enthusiasts, bird lovers, mountain biking and nature hikes. We offer comfortable self-catering or full board accommodation in a game reserve environment, half an hour drive from Montagu. Our accommodation consists of well-appointed thatch chalets with lovely views over the plains and mountains, secluded self-catering tented camps and a basic camping site for those who want to enjoy Nature at her best. Lodge Facilities include a swimming pool, boma for evening communal braai’s, pool table and darts, pub, comfortable visitors lounge and lapa, as well as self-drive trails and 4X4 trails. Day visitors are welcome to join us on our scheduled Nature Drives where we explore Nature and view game on the property, and also our Cheetah Awareness Program where you can see and learn about these endangered wild cats and their struggle to survive in the wild.
