Rouxwil Country House

Experience Overberg hospitality at Rouxwil Country House, whether you savour the exclusive cuisine in the Farm Restaurant, or stay overnight in the charming accommodation. Rouxwil Farm is a working wheat and sheep farm, situated between Hermanus and Franschhoek, and close to the towns of Caledon and Greyton. The farm lies nestled between vast rolling hills of wheat fields, orchards and majestic mountains, providing an ever-changing kaleidoscope of colours and a paradise for landscape photographers. Rouxwil offers four spacious en-suite apartments. The family apartment exudes luxury and comfort in the old-fashioned way; a fusion of oak antiques and pure cotton linen with all the modern conveniences. The private verandah has beautiful views of the valley and down towards the farm dam. From July until October the dam is covered with “waterblommetjies”, a fragrant water flower which is a delicacy in the Overberg. Thys and O’nel Roux are the owners of Rouxwil and welcome all their visitors with warm hospitality. This young and energetic couple love to share what they have with guests. Through years of experience they know their guests will be friends before they leave.
