ATKV Buffelspoort

Less than an hour’s drive from Pretoria and Johannesburg lies ATKV Buffelspoort: the Magaliesberg Mountain oasis, and the ideal base from which to explore the platinum province’s wealth of tourist attractions. Enjoy the frost-free, subtropical climate with warm summer days and pleasant winters. ATKV Buffelspoort is known for its beautiful, leafy gardens and lawns as well as its rich birdlife. A game farm is situated a mere stone’s throw from the resort and the Magaliesberg Mountains and Buffelspoort Dam offer a rich experience for the adventurous. ATKV Buffelspoort offers a wide variety of accommodation. There are fully equipped standard and luxury rondavels, each with its own bathroom, toilet and fully equipped kitchen. For guests who require more space, there are six- and eight-bed flats with two bathrooms. All flats and rondavels have a television with selected DStv channels. For nature lovers, Buffelspoort also offers a fully equipped tent camp with tent houses, each with its own bathroom and fully equipped with all necessities. For the tent houses without kitchens, there is a well-appointed communal kitchen with washing-up facilities. All units have microwave ovens and braai facilities. Many of the high-class stands are paved. Beautiful tent-camping spots with clean and tidy ablution blocks make this a camper’s paradise. All camping sites are equipped with braai facilities. The new paved sites covered by shade nets are great favourites among campers. This caravan park was recently nominated one of the top ten caravan parks in South Africa by a leading outdoor magazine, Caravan and Outdoor.
