Baron's Palace
The Barons Palace Hotel in Oudtshoorn reveals to her guests an era of affluence and opulence. The Hotel was built at the turn of the century by a wealthy Ostrich Baron. The warm furnishings, lush drapes, large airy rooms, wooden staircase and huge log fires in Winter evoke memories of the bygone Victorian era, when the ostrich feather trade was at its height.
