Zeru House

Uniondale in the Little Karoo on the R62 is synononymous with a wandering ghost, Boer war forts, and fabulous scenery. It is conveniently close to the Garden Route, Baviaanskloof Mega Reserve, Prince Albert and the Swartberg Pass, Prince Alfreds Pass to Knysna, the Langkloof, George airport, Outshoorn and the Cango Caves. Zeru House Bed & Breakfast, and self-catering cottage provides all the comforts and facilities that the discerning traveler visiting Uniondale for business or leisure would expect. Originally built in the 1880’s, is a beautiful double storey home with yellowwood ceilings, floors, and sash windows. On a hot summers day, relax on our fantastic large Karoo stoep (verandah) and watch the world go by, or enjoy our swimming pool. All the rooms are clean, spacious and simply decorated, with comfortable chairs and beds. We have twin and family bedrooms en suite with bath/shower. Electric blankets are fitted for those cold Karoo nights. We also have a self-catering family cottage, which can sleep 5, with 2 bedrooms; a shower bathroom and large open plan kitchen/living area. Satellite (DSTV) is available and wireless Internet connection, as are tea and coffee making facilities. Off-road secure parking is available. Delicious, simple homemade meals are available on request, and we cater for vegetarians. As well as three twin en-suite bedrooms in the house, we also have a self-catering family cottage. Our rooms are clean, spacious and simply decorated. You can choose from three lounges to relax in. We offer satellite (DSTV), tea/coffee making facilities, off-road secure parking, swimming pool, guest lounges, and wireless Internet connection. Delicious, simple homemade meals are available on request, and we cater for vegetarians. Our aim is to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
