Capitalise on the Japanese tourism market at JATA 2014

A world of business opportunities await at the upcoming JATA tourism expo in Japan, where role-players in the South African trade industry will be able to explore the Japanese tourism market and promote their offerings.

JATA Tourism Expo Japan gives role-players in the industry a chance to market their products on the world stage

The JATA tourism expo takes place in Tokyo from 25 to 28 September 2014, and will be a fully comprehensive event promoting inbound, domestic and outbound travel, all in one venue.

It presents an ideal environment for networking, as all of Japan's municipalities and over 150 countries from around the world will exhibit at over 1 500 booths, highlighting their unique offerings and promoting trade products.

JATA 2014 was formed following the merge of two of Japan’s biggest travel fairs – the JATA “Tabihaku” Travel Showcase and the Tabi Fair, resulting in an exciting event never seen before.

This new project will stimulate the demand for domestic and overseas travelling by linking businesses across the globe, while marketing Japan as one of the leading tourist nations of the world.

According to the JATA official website, there are a number of merits in exhibiting:

  • By attracting approximately 150 000 visitors, it offers the perfect place for in-depth market research on consumer trends
  • It’s an ideal place to hold business meeting in expanding trade channels
  • It offers an opportunity to gain loyal customers
