As the biggest mall in the province, this Mpumalanga shopping mall is conveniently situated in the tourism hub of Nelspruit, on the main road to White River in Mpumalanga province. You will find virtually all the shops that the mega-malls in big cities like Johannesburg and Cape Town offer, from Pick 'n Pay supermarket to the clothes and exclusive foodstuffs on sale at Woolworths, a favourite for many South Africans. This Nelspruit shopping mall is cool and atmospheric inside, offering a merciful retreat from the hot African sun. This makes shopping here even more of a pleasure. How to get here
From the N4 coming from Johannesburg, turn left onto the R40 in the direction of White River/Witrivier and continue on this road for about 5km. The Riverside Mall shopping centre will be on your right.

Nelspruit is at the heart of the South African lowveld and forms the gateway for many safari destinations, the Kruger National Park being the most well-known.
Get around
Riverside Mall has plenty of parking and pensioners park for free on Wednesdays. Wheel chairs are available from the Security offices situated between Vodashop and Mr. Price, or at the Centre Management situated at Entrance 3 below the escalators.

You will be pleasantly surprised that prices of quite a few items are a bit cheaper than in big cities like Cape Town and Johannesburg.
