Mount Grace Spa

Mount Grace Spa Mount Grace Spa - luxury country retreat

The Mount Grace Spa is set amidst ten acres of gardens in the Magaliesberg mountain range. It is the perfect health and wellness weekend getaway for visitors to Johannesburg and Pretoria - and there are a wide range of treatments to choose from in a scenic country setting.

Did you know?

The Mount Grace Country House & Spa is situated close to the historical war sites: The Battle of Nooitgedacth & The Old English Block House as well as the Cradle of Humankind.

The Mount Grace Spa is the perfect space to deconstruct your stress levels and take a moment or two to pause and reflect. This exquisite spa is situated in a naturally-inspired setting and has a number of unique features. The Hydrotherapy Spa Gardens have been designed to combine the various benefits of hydrotherapy with natural elements. In this exquisite garden you'll find a Brine Pool (Liquid Sound Flotation Pool) to achieve perfect relaxation as the mineral salts work their magic and the whale orchestra (in the background) takes you to another space altogether. These gardens consist of an outdoor jacuzzi, rock pools and waterfalls and lush greenery.

There are numerous spa treatments on offer at this spa at Mount Grace. Thalassotherapy is a firm favourite amongst guests. This form of hydrotherapy uses water to heal the body and create a feeling over overall relaxation. Spend some time in the hydrotherapy tub to get the circulation going and release toxins. There are also various massages on offer from Swedish, to deep-tissue to hot stone therapy to the Thaba massage (a four-hand signature massage offered exclusively by Mount Grace Spa). Numerous facial treatments are on the menu to suit any skin type and detoxifying body wraps are also popular - as are the relaxing milk rituals. Your usual grooming treatments are reasonably priced and there are special pre-natal treatments for expectant mums who need a bit of pampering.

This Magaliesberg Spa is also known for its special packages - there's the All In An Hour (which is exactly one hour long), the Mount Grace Retreat package and the Ultimate Spa ritual, there are also packages available for couples. The exclusive bush spa on the property is a new addition, and offers up perfect intimacy in a secluded setting.

Once you've had your fill of spa treatments and spent time in the fragrant gardens - why not go for a hike in the Magaliesberg. There is also a gymnasium as part of the spa offering. Otherwise, pull up a deck chair around the pool and relax in the sunshine.
