Mangwanani Sibaya is home to an inspired African retreat that forms part of the Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom. Why not drop Dad off to tussle with Lady Luck and book yourself on a half-day or full-day treatment package?

Did you know?

Mangwanani has won Spa of the Year every year from 2003 to 2009, as awarded by SA's Health Spa Guide.

Mangwanani Sibaya is a Private African Day Spa situated at the Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast, approximately 25 km from Durban.

The Mangwanani group of spas is committed to nurturing the talents of previously disadvantaged women through training and development, who then provide a true African indulgent spa experience using ancestral therapies. They are also committed to offering the ultimate spa experience to their clientele.

Give yourself over to the African day spa experience. The Mangwanani Sibaya spa design features ethnic Zulu architecture laid out in traditional village style. Technology and modern finishes ensure a state-of-the art experience, while the setting offers wonderful sea views. The friendly service and traditional encounters will leave you feeling that you have had a once-in-a-lifetime pamper session.

At the gates of the Sibaya Village, as is the custom with Zulu people, permission is requested to enter. Once granted, visitors are greeted with traditional songs and dance by Zulu performers as you enter.

There is a choice of day and night packages and guests can opt to be transferred to Mangwanani Sibaya in a private bus. The half-day package includes breakfast and beverages, and comprises full body massage, foot massage and Indian head and neck massage. The full-day package is called African Revitalisation and will rejuvenate, energise and detoxify.

Other treatments include the Ancient African Head & Neck Healing & Relaxation therapy, the Traditional African Royal Hand Gift (from fingers to elbows) and the Full Spa Body Works with an African mielie meal body exfoliation. Clients can also opt for treatments that include a Crystal Spa Bath, a Mineral Spa Jacuzzi or Hot Rock Pool. A tot of the local liqueur, Amarula, and imported chocolates round off the treatment, leaving a sweet taste in the mouth.
