In Johannesburg, outdoor adventure sport park, Action World at Jozi X is South Africa’s first permanent outdoor, inflatable fun park.
Part obstacle course, and part circus, this outdoor Johannesburg adventure sport park is a barefoot, helmet and harness-free fun zone. Kids aged 5 to 75 can’t wait to come here to slide, swing, jump, climb, and fall off huge inflatable structures, or take a wild ride in a zorb ball (an inflatable plastic sphere).
Though activities are undertaken at your own risk, it’s virtually impossible to miss the krush kushions (professional stunt mats), and every activity is supervised to ensure visitors obey all safety rules and instructions. There’s also a beginner mountain board track on site, with equipment and lessons provided. Coming soon are an X-board track, a dirt park, a luge track. and tar street park for skaters of every persuasion.
Nearby, the MTN Toyota Cycle Park is urban mountain bike heaven. With 18 trails ranging from toddler-friendly tracks to full throttle raceways, there’s something for every mountain and BMX bike thrill seeker at this outdoor adventure sport park in Johannesburg.
Trails are colour-coded according to the International Mountain Bike Association's (IMBA) requirements to ensure a rider’s ability and experience matches the trail difficulty.
The entire facility is fenced so kids can ride their bikes in safety, and the woodland feel of this city cycle park will amaze you. There’s a dirt jump, BMX track, and a pump track, so hire a bike, grab a helmet and go ride!
For active families and adventure sport enthusiasts looking to max their endorphin levels further, Battlezone Paintball, next door to Jozi X, is an adrenalin fueled, ‘soft’ combat adventure. Approximately 2kms away is Boot Camp SA, a pseudo-military obstacle course for GI Joes and Janes of all ages featuring platoon races, commando ranges, and push-ups…

How to get here
From the N1 South or North, take the William Nicol off ramp, and turn into Sloane Street. Toyota MTN Cycle Park and Jozi X are located on opposite sides of Main Road in Bryanston, adjacent to the N1 Freeway.
Around the area
Montecasino Casino and Entertainment Complex, Design Quarter, and there are several large shopping malls in the area.

What will it cost
MTN Toyota Cycle Park: R50 per rider, per visit. Mountain bike hire R220, BMX bike hire R100.
Entry to Action World at Jozi X: R120 p/person (weekends), R100 p/person (weekdays), price excludes mountain boarding and zorb rides.
Battlezone Paintball: R100 p/person
Bootcamp SA: R60 p/ person for a 1 hour session.
Length of stay
Entrance fees for all facilities are for a full day.
What to pack
Bring your own cycling wear, riding gloves and closed shoes for the MTN Toyota Cycle Park. No gear needed for Action World at Jozi X, except a swimming costume in summer. At Battlezone Paintball and Bootcamp SA all protective gear and all equipment is provided, but wear old clothing and closed shoes.

There are guesthouses in nearby Bryanston, Sunninghill, Lonehill, and hotels in Sandton about a 20 minute drive away.
What to eat
The MTN Toyota Cycle Park has a coffee shop on site, and picnics are welcome.
Action World at Jozi X sells non-alcoholic beverages, and guests are welcome to bring picnics. No alcohol and no cooking permitted on the premises.
