Greenacres Shopping Centre attracts souvenir hunters, fashionistas and local and international shoppers of all kinds. Located in the greater Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, this Port Elizabeth shopping centre is regarded as the fashion and shopping centre of the Eastern Cape.
The mall gets rave reviews about the well-priced variety of merchandise on offer and visitors are advised to travel with a half empty suitcase so they can fill it up with great bargains! The mall attracts over a million visitors per month and competes with some of Port Elizabeth's other attractions, like its stunning beaches and increasingly popular malaria-free wildlife areas.
Greenacres Shopping Centre opened in 1981 with a perfect blend of retail outlets, including clothing boutiques, banks, jewellers and small specialty shops. There are also plenty of well-stocked braches of the country’s best know chain stores like Shoprite, Clicks, Edgars and South Africa’s Woolworths – which offer good quality clothing and food products at very good prices. When you need a break from bargain hunting, you can visit the food court which features coffee shops, restaurants and fast food facilities.
Accessibility is one of the strong points of the shopping centre in Port Elizabeth. The mall offers ample parking space and prides itself on being wheelchair-friendly – it also has disabled friendly shopping trolleys on offer. Spacious baby-changing rooms are delightfully decorated and suitably equipped for you and your baby. Colourful trolleys for children are available to keep the little ones busy, while you shop to your heart's content.

Greenacres Shopping Centre is conveniently located on a ring road at the intersection of the Cape Road (R102) and the CJ Langenhoven Drive. It is easily accessible from Port Elizabeth Airport and the centre forms part of a km-long shopping strip.
