Cape Town airport transfers are available from Cape Town International Airport (CTIA), which receives international flights from around the world and domestic flights from all major centres in South Africa.
Airport transfers in Cape Town are offered through a range of operators, from car rental agencies and specialist transfer companies to shuttle service providers. Cape Town International transfers can also be arranged through the hotel where you're staying, so check when booking for direct airport-hotel transfers.
Cape Town airport transfers are available to and from the Cape Town CBD and surrounding areas, including the V&A Waterfront, Camps Bay and Clifton, Fish Hoek, Noordhoek and Hout Bay.
All South Africa's major car rental companies are represented at CTIA, and many offer a point-to-point airport transfer service. Try Avis Rent a Car, Hertz or Tempest Car Hire for airport transfers direct to your destination.
There are several operators that offer private, luxury transfers to and from CTIA. Luxury Chauffer Services specialises in luxury transfers in and around the Cape Town CBD and coast, transporting guests in top-of-the-range Range Rover vehicles.
There are plenty of shuttle services available from the airport. One of the best known providers is Magic Bus. This service includes daily, scheduled shuttles to and from the airport and 24-hour door-to-door transfers.
Most top Cape Town destinations are located between 30 minutes and an hour's drive from the airport. But be aware that peak hour traffic in the mornings and afternoons can delay your journey.
There are dozens of top establishments within 30 minutes of the airport, including 4 and 5 star hotels, luxury apartments, boutique hotels and top-notch beachfront facilities along the Atlantic seaboard.
Try The Commodore Hotel near the V&A Waterfront, the Mount Nelson Hotel in the city bowl, the Hout Bay Manor boutique hotel in Hout Bay or The Twelve Apostles Hotel on the Atlantic seaboard.
