The abseil off Table Mountain starts at 1 000 metres above sea level.
There are lots of Cape Peninsula adventure options: you can hike a mountain, abseil, surf a wave or ride a dune. What's more, you can do it all with a Revel Adventures outdoor adventure tour of the Cape Peninsula.
Your day starts early with a pick up in the Cape Town inner city. You’ll begin your adventure with a 2-hour hike up Table Mountain. This iconic South African landmark is a must for any enthusiastic trekker.
At the top those who have the courage can opt to abseil the 117m back down. Otherwise you can take the cable car back down the mountain to embark on phase two of your adventure day.
You will be taken on a scenic coastal road to Hout Bay, stopping in Camps Bay for a photo opportunity. At Hout Bay you’ll be schooled in basic sandboarding techniques. Then it’s off to the dunes for speed and thrills galore.
After this you'll head over the beautiful leafy Constantia Nek to False Bay for a quick surfing lesson. You’ll hit the waves off Muizenberg beach – a favourite location for both beginner surfers and old hands.
After this action-packed day you'll be taken back to your accommodation, with experiences and memories that will last long beyond the time it takes to get rid of all the sand.
The price includes all transport, a qualified guide, instructors, meals, a cable car ticket and all sandboarding and surfing equipment.
